Coming to the counter

We’re on Disney Avenue in East Keilor, a few minutes off the Calder Freeway and about twenty minutes north-west of the CBD. There’s room to pull a ute or a van in off the street, and if you’re bringing a truck or a trailer ring first so we can point you at the right gate rather than have you reverse out of a tight one.

The counter is open six days. Saturday mornings are the busiest few hours of the week, so if you need someone to spend time working out an interchange with you, a weekday is easier on both of us.

What to bring, or have handy

You’ll get a faster answer if you arrive with the vehicle’s registration or VIN. The VIN is seventeen characters, on the compliance plate under the bonnet or on the rego papers, and it lets us check the exact build rather than guessing from a model name. For panels, the colour code is on the same plate — with it we can often supply something that needs no paint at all.

If you already know the part number, bring that too. If you don’t, bring the old part if you can. Two minutes comparing it on the counter beats a week of posting the wrong thing back and forth.

Which number to ring

For a part, ring the division that handles your make — the list is above, and you’ll skip the general queue entirely. For anything else, the main line on (03) 9274 4444 reaches the office.
